HOME HAZARDS? HELP US HELP YOU!
Need help assessing and addressing home hazards on your property? If so, help us help you. Review this Home Hazard Assessment Guideand Worksheet from the Forest Stewards Guild to learn how to recognize and assess potential hazards that may exist around your home. Then we invite you to take this short hazard assessment survey. Your responses will help us gain a more accurate picture of hazardous fuels conditions around homes in the East Mountains so that we can work with Team Rubicon volunteers to provide the help you need.
Bernalillo County incorporated your comments into its updated countywide Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP). The update includes revised data analyses, base maps, community risk assessments, priorities for hazard reduction activities, and recommendations for reducing structure ignitability.
